1/2 pound prunes
1/4 pound dried apricots
1 C seeded raisins
4 T large tapioca
1 C sugar
1 stick cinnamon
3 apples diced
1 lemon, sliced
1 orange, sliced
1/2 C maraschino cherries
1/4 tsp saltRecipe
Soak dried fruits and tapioca overnight. In morning combine all ingredients, except cherries, in 2 quarts water and cook until fruit is soft. If soup is too thick add more water or grape juice. ! pint canned apricots may be used instead of dried apricots. Serve hot or cold. Good served cold with cream.
