    List of Ingredients




    1 pound salted dried cod
    1 C rice
    2 C water
    3 C milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    3 T butter
    2 tsp sugar
    1/2 tsp white pepper

    Recipe



    Soak cod in cold water over night. drain. Cook in fresh water until done, then bone and and chop finely. Wash rice and put on to boil in cold water, then add milk and simmer until rice is almost soft. Add butter and leave until cool. Add fish, seasonings and eggs. pour into buttered and bread crumbed baking dish. Sprinkle with fine bread crumbs and bake about 1 hour at 375 degrees F.
