    1 1/4 C butter
    2 1/2 C flour
    3 1/3 C ground almonds
    1 3/4 C powdered sugar

    Recipe



    Wash butter to remove salt [use sweet cream butter].Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed butter, mixing thoroughly. Divide dough into 3 portions and roll out in fairly thin rounds. Arrange on baking tins or on a Swedish pancake pan. Bake at 400 degrees until done. Cool. Arrange in layers with filling of cooked sweetened apples, jelly or vanilla cream. Cover with whipped cream and garnish as desired.
