List of Ingredients
1 pound liver, ground
1/4 pound lean boneless pork,ground
1/4 pound beef, ground
2 eggs
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp allspice1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 small onion, chopped
2 C thin cream
2 Cup unsifted unbleached white flour
2 Tablespoon dry Sherry
Recipe
Fry onion in 2 tablespoons fat until tender, and add to ground meat. Add slightly beaten eggs. Add rest of ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Bake in a well greased ring mold, set in a pan of water.Cover pan. Bake in moderate oven 1 hour, then remove cover and continue baking 1 hour more. Serve hot or cold.
makes a good sandwich or is great on rye crackers.
