List of Ingredients



• 2 C woodland mushrooms, chopped
  
• 4 slices bacon
  
• 1 medium onion, chopped
  
• 1 quart sauerkraut
  
• 1 large tart apple
  
• 1/2 tsp thyme
  
• salt and pepper to taste
  
• 12 ounces beer
  






Instructions



1. Saute bacon and onion. Mix all but the beer. Put the mixture In a shallow casserole, and pour the beer over.
   
   
2. Bake covered at 350 degrees F. for 50 minutes.
