List of Ingredients
- 8 medium sized beets, (or 1 No 2 can)
- 1 C beet liquid
- 1/4 C lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 T minced onion
Instructions
- Prepare, cook and drain beets, reserving liquid.
- Add beet liquid to remaining ingredients and stir until sugar dissolves. Pour over beets.
- Reheat to serve hot, or chill thoroughly to serve as a cold pickled beets.
