    Potato Gratin, Boursin

    Recipe Introduction

    Servings: 10-12 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    List of Ingredients

    3 lbs Russet Potatoes, peeled
    1 pkg Garlic & Herb Gournay Cheese
    1 lb Shredded Cheddar Cheese
    1 cup Half & Half
    Salt, to taste
    Pepper, to taste
    1 1/4 sticks Butter
    1/4 cup Plain Bread Crumbs
    1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
    Water




    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Boil potatoes in salted water until fork tender and drain. Mash potatoes with 1 stick butter and half and half. Add Gournay cheese, salt and pepper to taste. Place 1/3 of potato mixture into round casserole pan and layer on 1/3 of Cheddar cheese. Repeat with remaining potato mixture and Cheddar cheese until potatoes are the top layer. Sprinkle bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese on top. Cut remaining butter into small cubes and sprinkle on top. Bake for 40 minutes until browned and bubbly. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.

    Helpful Tips:

    I use Boursin brand Gournay cheese. (alouette, etc….)
