I like this on noodles as well as on the toast points.
List of Ingredients
1 pound fresh mushrooms
1/2 C butter
juice of 1 lemon
1/4 C flour
1 1/2 C brown gravy
1/2 C dry white wine
salt
pepper
nutmeg to taste
Parsley, choppedRecipe
Slice mushrooms and saute in butter and lemon juice for 2 minutes. Add flour and half the gravy and simmer 2 minutes. Add wine, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Cook, stirring for 2 minutes. Serve on toast points. Garnish with parsley.
