    6 small potatoes
    2 C diced, tea smoked hocks
    1 onion
    1-2 cloves garlic
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1/2 tsp allspice
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    1/8 tsp mace
    3/4 tsp dry mustard powder
    1 egg
    1 pat butter
    cornmeal

    Recipe



    Boil and mash potatoes. Mix with the above ingredients. Form into patties and coat with cornmeal. fry in drippings or bacon fat.
