five or six sweet potatoes
five or six apples
four sausage patties
salt
brown sugar

Recipe



Boil the sweet potatoes. Peel and slice them thin. Peel, core and slice apples, but not too thin. Butter a casserole dish and layer one half of the sweet potatoes in. Add the sausage patties and then the apples. season with the salt and brown sugar (not too much). Place a layer of sweet potatoes over and a pinch of brown sugar. Add enough water to cook. Bake at three hundred and fifty degrees for one hour.
