Micro-preheat whole squash 1 minute. Halve lengthwise. remove seeds and membranes. Place cut side down in 1/4-1/2 cup water for approximately 12 minutes, or until fork tender. When tender remove pasta like strands with a fork. Dot strands with butter and parmesan cheese, or sauce and shredded jalapeno cheese or enjoy with cubed cooked meat. Add garlic to taste.
