Swiss Scalloped Potatoes

3 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
1 medium onion
1/2 pound Swiss cheese, grated
3 eggs
2 1/4 C milk
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp paprikaRecipe
Place alternating layers of potato, onion and cheese in buttered 12 cup shallow baking dish. Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper, in a small bowl. Beat well. Pour this over the potatoes and sprinkle with paprika. Cover dish with foil. Bake in a slow oven, 325 degrees F., for 45 minutes. remove foil and bake another hour, or until golden brown.
