    List of Ingredients


    • 2 quarts red dandelion leaves
    • 1/4 C bacon fat
    • 1/4 C cider vinegar
    • 2 tsp sugar
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 2 T chopped parsley


    Instructions


    1. Wash greens and dry. Cut off stems. Cut into small pieces.
    2. Heat bacon fat, vinegar, sugar and salt. add greens, cook over medium heat, covered, until wilted and tender, 12 minutes. Add parsley and stir.


    Final Comments


    You can use mint, mustard or garlic in place of or with the parsley if desired.,
