Warm Chocolate Pudding Sundaes
A warm, comforting chocolate pudding served over ice cream.
List of Ingredients
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup baking cocoa
3 Tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 cups milk -- I used 2%
2 Tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
vanilla ice cream
Recipe
In microwave-safe bowl, combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt.
Gradually stir in milk until smooth.
Microwave, uncovered, on high for about 7 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until sauce comes to a boil.
Stir in butter and vanilla.
Serve warm with ice cream.
Store leftovers in the fridge.
Serves: 6
Serving Ideas : This could also be served without the ice cream. Eat warm or refrigerate for cold pudding.
