    Honey-Glazed Chicken

    Taste of Home Cookbook--1st edition--pg.7

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 c. flour
    1 t. salt
    1/2 t. cayenne pepper
    3 lbs. chicken cut up -- with or without skin
    1/2 c. butter (can use less butter)
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. honey
    1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
    1 T. soy sauce
    1 1/2 t. curry powder (I like to use less)

    Recipe

    Combine flour salt and cayenne in a bag and shake chicken pieces in it to coat.

    Put 4 T. melted butter in 13x9 baking pan.

    Put chicken in pan and turn once to coat with butter. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 min.

    Combine brown sugar, honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, curry powder and remaining butter--pour over chicken.

    Bake 45 min longer or til chicken is tender.

    Baste several times with the pan drippings.
