    This was so moist and good. You would never guess there are oats in this bread. I used 1 1/2 t. SAF yeast and added 1 T. vital wheat gluten. I just used my dough cycle and baked it in the oven. I made it to get rid of some of my homemade lemon curd, but after I made the bread I was wishing I had even more lemon curd to eat on the bread. I liked it best with the lemon curd, but it was also good with Blueberry Brummel and Brown spread.

    List of Ingredients




    2/3 cup old fashioned rolled oats
    1 1/8 cups milk ( for Welbilt/DAK and Zojirushi machines add 4 tablespoons more milk)
    1/2 cup lemon curd
    3 cups bread flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    1 1/2 tablespoons butter
    2 teaspoons active dry yeast (I used 1 1/2 t. SAF yeast)
    1 tablespoon vital wheat gluten -- optional

    Recipe



    1. Place the ingredients in the bread pan, insert it in the machine, select a Light Crust setting and press Start.

    2. AFter the baking cycle ends, remove the bread from the pan, place on a cake rack, and allow to cool for 1 hour before slicing.

    Yield:
    "1 1/2 pound loaf"
