2 cups corn meal
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 TBS. sugar (more or less to taste)
1/2 c. water
1 c. milk
2 eggs
2 TBS. melted Crisco (shortening)
Recipe
Mix dry ingredients. Add water and milk; stir well. Add eggs and beat well, till blended. Stir in shortening. Fill well-greased muffin tins with mixture. Bake 25 minutes @ 400ºF.
