List of Ingredients
3 eggs
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 1/3 cups water
4 Tablespoons of plain Flour
4 Tablespoons of Cocoa
3/4 stick of margarine or butter--can use a whole stick
1 1/3 Teaspoons REAL Vanilla
Pinch of Salt---can use low salt if needed
2 small mixing bowls
Recipe
Throughly mix flour, sugar and cocoa in one bowl. Beat eggs with small amount of cold water. Stir the eggs into the flour sugar cocoa mix. Slowly stir in 1 1/3rd cups boiling water. Beat until fairly smooth.
Pour into a no stick heavy pan. Bring to a low boil and cook until thick...not long LOL. Remove from flame/eye/coil/geesh and add margarine/butter. Sit it aside to cool a bit, then add the Vanilla. Pour into pie crust and cool to room temperature. Top with Meringue and cook in 350 oven until lightly golden on peaks.
