1/4 c. unsalted butter or margarine
1/4 c. light corn syrup
2 TBS. water
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. pecan halvesRecipe
Preheat oven to 250ºF. Line baking sheet with foil. Combine the butter, corn syrup, water & salt in a heavy 1 quart sauce pan and bring to a boil. Stir in pecans to coat well. Spread evenly on baking sheet and bake for 1 hour, stirring about every 10 minutes. Let cool completely before serving. Can also be kept in an air-tight container for several days.
