    List of Ingredients

    2 lbs fresh straight green beans, stem end
    trimmed,
    cayenne or red pepper flakes,
    4 cloves garlic, peeled,
    4 heads of fresh dill weed, not baby dill, but the
    one where you see the seeds formed,
    2 tsp whole mustard seed,
    2 &1/2 cups white vinegar,
    2 &1/2 cups water,
    1/4 cup salt

    Recipe

    Wash jars and beans, pack jars tightly with raw
    beans and put in flavorings divided by 4, ie 1/2
    tsp mustard seed per jar. Boil vinegar, water
    and salt, pour into jars 1/2 inch from top, put on
    scalded lids. Process hot water bath for 10
    minutes. Let stand 2 weeks before eating.

    Makes 4 pints.
