"LIMPING SUSAN"-Okra & Rice

4 thick slices bacon, diced
3/4 c. sliced okra
1 c. uncooked rice
2 c. chicken broth
Salt & pepperRecipe
Cook bacon til fat is rendered. Add okra to pan & saute til barely tender. Add rice, broth, salt & pepper. Bring to boil, cover and simmer til rice is tender, about 25 minutes. Serves 6.
