Fake Hot Turkey Sandwich (LIGHT TUNA)

    Recipe Introduction

I really hate Chunk Light Tuna, its dark, its gamey tasting, but.. its cheap and easy to donate. I always ate White Albacore tuna at home and when I saw Light tuna I got grossed out about it. However, being a food bank recipient
"Beggars can't be choosers" .. you know I really hate this phrase, I use it because some automaton that thinks the food bank is a soup kitchen has no idea what the food bank is for. The food bank is to assist people who cannot find money to buy food so that they can pay their rent. Many times you will see children be handed a stuffed toy from the food bank, crayons, colouring books etc. I don't hear people saying Beggars can't be choosers to these kids. This phrase is totally obsolete, and should be left to those that invented the COLD WAR. Those wonderful people who put all the Baby Boomers into a sense of shell shock when they asked "Daddy, is it really true that nuclear death can rain down on us any second of our childhood?" Now THATS what I call trauma, no Great Depression for my generation, no, I get to cook my own food, I take it home and cook it, it isn't handed to me precooked and I have to wash the dishes after.

I only have to worry about the rest of my kind creating a deficit in our GDP because all of their lives they were told that they could be dead at any moment, so why not spend it all now???

    • 1 Can Light Tuna - Needed
    • 2 Medium or Large potatoes - Needed
    • Black pepper - Needed
    • Salt - Needed

    Instructions

    1. Nuke the potatoes, then mash the suckers

    2. Open the tin of tuna, toss it in a friggin bowl then mash in half the potatoes

    3. Add salt and pepper to taste, add 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce and 2 Tbs Turkey gravy to the mix (but don't make it runny). You might want to squeeze in a couple of drops of orange juice if you find the taste too fishy.

    4. Place on toast or a hamburger roll (open faced if desired, or closed for a Sloppy Joe type of meal)

    5. Take the rest of the mashed potatoes and scoop them onto a plate next to your sandwich. Add a dash of salt and pepper to taste

    6. Take the rest of the Turkey gravy and dump it all over the sandwich and the potatoes

    7. Nuke 2 minutes until hot.

    8. Add some 'slaw on the side
