    Jo's Overnight Rolls

    Mix 2 tsp sugar with 1 pkg yeast. Add this to 2 Tbsp warm water and let it set for 10 minutes.

    Scald 1 Cup Milk. Add 7 Tbsp Crisco. Stir til melted.

    In lg. bowl, beat 2 eggs. Mix in 7 Tbsp sugar and 1 tsp salt. Stir in milk mixture and cool to 85 degrees.

    Stir in the yeast mixture.

    Add 4 - 5 Cups flour. Mix Well about 5 minutes. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

    Take dough out a few hours before needed.

    When dough is at room temperature, Divide into 3 equal parts. Roll each piece of dough into a circle. Brush with melted butter (1 stick is enough to do all 3 circles). Cut the circles into wedges (like a pizza) 16 pieces. Roll up from edge to center to make a crescent roll. Place on baking sheet and brush each roll with more butter.

    Let rise away from draft til doubled.

    Bake at 400 10 - 15 min.

    Watch closly, they burn easily.
