Jello Cake

Recipe Introduction


I believe this is the original Jello Cake Recipe.
This is a very moist and easy cake to make.





List of Ingredients



• 1 small pkg jello
  
• 1 box white cake mix
  
• *******For the Frosting*******
  
• 1 envelope dream whip
  
• 1 small pkg instant vanilla pudding
  
• 1 1/2 Cups cold milk
  
• 1 tsp vanilla
  






Instructions



1. Dissolve jello in 3/4 cup boiling water. Add 1/2 Cup cold water and set aside.
   
   
2. Preheat oven as per cake directions.
   
   
3. Mix and bake the cake in 13 x 9 pan. Cool cake for 30 min.
   
   
4. Poke holes in top of cake with the end of a wooden spoon, about 1 1/2 inches apart.
   
   
5. With a cup, slowly pour the jello mixture into the holes.
   
   
6. Refrigerate the cake and prepare the toppingIn a chilled bowl, blend the dream whip with thepudding milk and vanilla beat about 5 min until stiff.
   
   
7. Immediatly frost the cake.
   
   






Final Comments


Store the cake in the refrigerator
Serve the cake chilled.
