    Shrimp De Jonghe

    Shrimp DeJonghe

    2 lbs shrimp (shelled and deveined)
    1 1/2 sticks salted butter softened
    1 Cup dry fine bread crumbs
    1/3 cup minced fresh parsley
    1/2 cup dry sherry
    1 - 6 cloves minced garlic
    1 tsp salt
    dash of cayenne
    dash of paprika
    toast points *optional


    1. Add shrimp to large pot of salted boiling water.
    Cook for 2 minutes and drain (shrimp will not be
    done)
    2. Preheat oven to 375. Butter a casserole dish.
    3. In a bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients.
    4. Lay shrimp in single layer in casserole.
    5. Spoon bread crumb mixture over top.
    6. Bake 30 - 40 minutes til bread crumbs are golden.
    7. Serve on toast points if desired
