    Swedish Meatballs


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1 small onion
    • 6 slices day old bread cut into cubes
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp ginger
    • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
    • 2 eggs
    • ****FOR THE GRAVY***
    • 1/4 cup flour
    • 2 Cups milk
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp gravy master
    • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
    • 1/4 tsp ginger
    • 2 cups water
    • 8 oz sour cream


    Instructions


    1. Mix together the meatball ingredients. Shape into balls
    2. Fry the meatballs in 2 tbsp oil & 2 Tbsp butter.
    3. Remove meatballs
    4. Add the 1/4 cup flour to the drippings.
    5. Gradually stir in the 2 Cups of milk
    6. Mix together the salt, gravy master, nutmeg, ginger and water. Stir into the milk mixture.
    7. LAST-- Stir in the sour cream til blended.
      (DO NOT BOIL) Put the meatballs back into the gravy.
