Chicken Hot Pockets
1 pkg.of refrigerated cresent roll
3 oz.cream cheese with chives,softened
2 T butter softened
2 cups of cubed chicken or turkey breast
2 T butter ,melted
1/2 cup crushed seasoned croutons
Cheese Sauce[receipe below]
Preheat oven 400.Divide crescent rolls into 4 rectangles,pinching seams together.Stir together cream cheese and softened butter.Add chicken.Place 1/4 of mixture on one side of each dough rectangle.Fold in half and pinch to seal seams.Brush bundles with melted butter and roll in crushed croutons.Place in shallow dish and bake 25-30 min.Serve with cheese sauce.
Cheese Sauce
2 T butter
2T flour
1/8 t salt
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup shredded american cheese
1T finely chopped onion
1/2 t wworchester sauce
dash of pepper
In 1 quart pan melt butter.Stir in flour and salt.Add milk and cook until bubbly.Add cheese ,onion,worchester sauce and pepper.Cook until cheese is melted. Makes 1 1/4 cup
