    Scallopped Potatoes

    List of Ingredients


    • 6 Cups thinly sliced (peeled potatoes)
    • 4 Tbsp Butter
    • 4 Tbsp flour
    • 2 Cups Milk
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp pepper
    • 1 Tbsp minced onion
    • **Cheese ( optional)


    Instructions


    1. Boil the potatoes for 10 min in salted water.Drain and place into greased casserole.

    2. Melt the butter, add the flour and keep stiring to make a roux. Slowly add the milk, stir until thickened.

    3. add the salt, peper and minced onion.

    4. You may add cheese to the sauce if desired.Stir until cheese is melted.

    5. Pour the sauce over the potatoes

    6. Bake 375 for 1 hr.
