- 6 Cups thinly sliced (peeled potatoes)
- 4 Tbsp Butter
- 4 Tbsp flour
- 2 Cups Milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp minced onion
- **Cheese ( optional)
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes for 10 min in salted water.Drain and place into greased casserole.
- Melt the butter, add the flour and keep stiring to make a roux. Slowly add the milk, stir until thickened.
- add the salt, peper and minced onion.
- You may add cheese to the sauce if desired.Stir until cheese is melted.
- Pour the sauce over the potatoes
- Bake 375 for 1 hr.
