    NUTS: Cinnamon Walnuts

    List of Ingredients

    3 Tablespoons water
    1 Tablespoon light corn syrup
    1 cup sugar
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    2 cups walnuts, halves
    1 tablespoon butter

    Recipe

    Combine water, corn syrup, sugar and cinnamon in heavy saucepan. Cook, without stirring to hard crack stage. Gently fold in butter and walnuts. Spread on greased surface with spatula.

    Release candy with spatula from greased surface. As it hardens, turn candy over; pull as thin as possible.

    Store in tightly covered can for 24 hours before serving.
