    DIP: Spinach Dip

    List of Ingredients

    1 (16 oz) container fat free sour cream
    1 (6-8 oz) pkg fat free cream cheese
    1 can water chestnuts - drained and chopped
    1 (10 oz) box frozen spinach - thawed and drained well
    1 red pepper - chopped**

    Recipe

    Whip with electric mixer cream cheese until very smooth. Add sour cream and blend with mixer. When smooth and fluffy, add chopped water chestnuts, red bell pepper, and frozen spinach. Mix well by hand. Chill for 1 hour or more.


    TO SERVE: Hollow out bell peppers or a loaf of sourdough bread and pour the dip into it.

    **Chop red pepper in a food processor until very small. Too large a chunk might not taste right.
