List of Ingredients
FILLING
1/2 pound crab meat, drained & chopped
1/2 pound cream cheese, room temp
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, or A-1 sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
30 won-ton wrappers
1 egg yolk, well beaten
Oil, for frying
Chinese mustard, and/or Red Sauce
Recipe
Combine crab meat with cream cheese and seasonings in a medium bowl. Blend to make a paste. Place heaping teaspoonful on each wonton. Moisten edges of wontons with egg yolk. Gather the 4 corners of wontons together at the top and pinch edges together to seal. Heat oil to 375°. Add wontons in batches and fry until golden brown -- about 3 minutes. Remove with slotted spoon or basket and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with Chinese mustard and/or Red sauce for dipping. Makes 30 rangoons.
