    Recipe Introduction

    Two breakfast favorites combine in a fun start to the day. For large appetites, use large twist bagels.

    List of Ingredients

    3 bagels
    1 tbsp eggs
    1/2 cup shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
    1 scallion, sliced
    Pinch each salt and pepper

    Recipe

    1. Cut bagels in half to make 2 rings. If necessary, trim to make holes about 1 inch round. Spread butter over cut sides; place, cut side up, on well-greased rimmed baking sheet.

    2. Broil for 2 minutes or until golden. Turn bagels over; break egg into center of each. Sprinkle cheese, onion, salt and pepper over each egg; bake in 350F oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until whites are set and yolks still slightly runny. Serve immediately.
