    List of Ingredients

    2 pkgs dry yeast
    2 1/2 c lukewarm water
    1 pkg yellow cake mix
    1 c all-purpose flour
    3 eggs
    1/3 c oil
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    5 1/4 c all-purpose flour
    soft butter
    Sugar & cinnamon

    GLAZE
    1 lb powdered sugar
1/2 stick butter or margarine, melted
    1 1/2 tsp vanilla
    1/2 cups milk (1/2 to 3/4)

    Recipe

Dissolve yeast in warm water for 3 minutes. Add cake mix, 1 cup flour, eggs, oil & salt. Beat well until bubbles appear. Add 5-1/4 cups flour, slowly. Stir until soft dough forms. Knead on well-floured No Mess Dough Disc about 5 minutes. Place in greased bowl, let rise in a warm place until double in bulk. Punch down dough, divide into 3 equal parts. Roll out each section of dough on No Mess Dough Disc, all the way to the edge of disc. Spread with softened butter, sprinkle with cinnamon & sugar. Roll up like jelly roll. Cut with dull knife or dental floss into 1" thickness. Place in a greased baking pan & allow to rise until doubled. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 30 minutes. Ice with powdered glaze while still hot....Yield: 3 - 4 dozen rolls.

GLAZE: Mix sugar, butter & vanilla. Stir in milk to desired consistency. Drizzle over hot rolls.

    VARIATION:

GERMAN CHOCOLATE PECAN ROLLS: Prepare dough as for cinnamon rolls, except substitute 1 pkg. (2 layer size) German chocolate cake mix for the white cake mix.

ANONYMOUS NOTES: These are the best cinnamon rolls I have ever made. I made this full batch for my husband and his coworkers -- but usually make a half batch which makes a small cookie sheet full. I then frost with a cream cheese frosting. They are really great. (I make the full batch with my Kitchen Aid mixer and the half-batch in my bread machine on the dough cycle - they both turn out great)
