WAFFLES: Chocolate Ecstasy Waffles

List of Ingredients




2 eggs, lightly beaten
6 tbsp sugar
3/4 c milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 c chocolate syrup
4 tbsp butter, melted
1 1/2 c cake flour, sifted
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Recipe



Combine eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla; stir thoroughly. In a separate bowl, blend chocolate syrup with butter. Let butter mixture cool; stir into egg mixture.

Combine all dry ingredients. Add egg and chocolate batter to dry ingredients and stir until smooth. Bake as directed If waffles stick to iron, spray lightly with cooking spray. Serves 5


VARIATIONS:

CHOCOLATE LOVERS: Add 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips to batter.

CINNAMON & CHOCOLATE: Add 1 tsp cinnamon to dry ingredients
