CAKE
1 box yellow cake mix, with pudding in mix
3/4 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 can mandarin oranges in juice, undrained
PINEAPPLE ICING
1 can crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
1 package instant vanilla pudding and pie filling (3.4 oz )
1 carton Cool Whip® (12 oz)
1 dash salt

CAKE: In a large mixing bowl, add first four ingredients and mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into a greased 9x13-inch baking pan and bake at 325 degrees F. for about 35 minutes. Let cool on baker's rack. When cake is cool, frost with pineapple icing.
PINEAPPLE ICING: Mix together pineapple, salt and pudding mix; fold in Cool Whip. Spread evenly over cake. Store in refrigerator.

I got this recipe from a lady I worked with when I was in college. It makes a moist, fruity cake,
