    2-1/4 cups sugar
    1/2 cup Sour Cream
    1/2 cup Milk
    2 Tbsp. Butter
    1 Tbsp Light Corn Syrup
    1/4 Tsp. Salt
    2 Tsp. Vanilla
    1 cup almonds (chopped)

    Recipe



    Combine sugar, sour cream, milk, butter, syrup and salt in saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture comes to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook to 238 degrees on candy thermometer. Remove from heat; let stand until luke warm. Add vanilla; beat until mixture begins to lose gloss and hold shape. Stir in almonds and quickly turn into buttered 8 x 8 inch pan. Let stand until firm before cutting.
