1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup evaporated milk (1 small can)
Recipe
SAUCE: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 1 stick of real butter with 1 cup brown sugar, packed. Whisk vigorously as the butter mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and whisk in 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1/2 cup evaporated milk (1 small can or a third of a larger can). This sauce can be made ahead of time and reheated in the microwave
