    Firecracker Grilled Alaskan Salmon

    Source of Recipe

    Quick & Tasty, Jul/2001, pg. 52

    Recipe Introduction

One of my favorite fish to grill is salmon and this is a great recipe for it!

    List of Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (4 - 6 oz each) thawed if necessary
    1/4 cup peanut oil
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    2 tbsp green onions, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp brown sugar
    1 garlic clove, minced
3/4 tsp red chili flakes, or to taste
    1/2 tsp sesame oil
    1/8 tsp sea salt

    Recipe

Place salmon in a glass dish. Whisk together remaining ingredients & pour over salmon. Cover with saran wrap & marinate in refrigerator 4 to 6 hours. Remove salmon from marinade and lace on a well-oiled grill about 5" from coals. Grill for 10 minutes per inch of thickness, measured at the thickest part or until fish just flakes when tested with a fork. Turn halfway through cooking. Serves 4.
