    THANKSGIVING: Turkey Picadillo

    List of Ingredients




    3/4 pound ground turkey
    1 onion, chopped
    1 teaspoon ground cumin
    salt and pepper, to taste
    1 can chili style chunk tomatoes (14.5 oz) undrained
    1/3 cup raisins
    4 flour tortilla
    lettuce leaves, optional
    cilantro sprigs, optional
    nonfat sour cream, optional

    Recipe



    In a large skillet over medium-high heat, combine turkey, onion and cumin. Cook 5 - 10 minutes, or until browned, stirring often. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in tomatoes and raisins. Cover and cook 3 minutes.

    To serve, fill warmed tortilla with the turkey mixture. Roll to enclose. Garnish with lettuce, cilantro and sour cream.


    Per serving: 280 calories, 25g protein, 36 g. carbohydrates, 4g fat (13%), 70 mg cholesterol, 533 mg sodium
