List of Ingredients

1/4 cup minced onion flakes
3 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes, crushed
1 tablespoon dried minced garlic
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 teaspoons oregano, crushed well


Recipe

Mix all ingredients well.

This is supposed to make 6 packages of store bought mix. Store in glass jar and use about 1/4 cup mix for tacos.

TO USE: Brown 1 pound ground beef, chicken or turkey - drain off excess fat . Sprinkle 1/4 cup mix over meat. Mix well. Add 1/2 cup water and 1 tablespoon ketchup and stir. Simmer uncovered, for approximately 10 minutes or until water had evaporated. Spoon into taco shells and top with toppings. Will make about 8 tacos.
