    SCONES: New Zealand Scones

    List of Ingredients

    3 cups flour
    4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 oz. butter
    pinch of Cayenne pepper
    1 cup grated cheese
    about 1 cup of milk
    1 tbsp chopped garlic (optional)
    2 tbsp crumbled feta cheese (optional)

    Recipe

    Sift the dry ingredients together, add the butter and 3/4 cup cheese. Add milk and mix into soft dough. Roll or pat dough into scones and place 1" apart on a baking sheet. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake at 220 Celsius (350 F) and bake until golden.
