Grilled Tortilla Pizzas

6 (10") flour tortillas
1 can (8 oz) Italian flavored tomato sauce
1 lb fresh mozzarella (from the deli department, packed in water), diced
Fresh basil, thinly sliced, to tasteRecipe
Place flour tortillas on counter top. Apply very thin layer of tomato sauce with the back of a spoon. Sprinkle with mozzarella and basil.
Place tortillas on a warm grill and cook, covered, until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese has melted, about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Remove tortillas from the grill and slice with a pizza cutter.
Serves 12 as an appetizer.
