“Quicker-Than-Delivery” Lavash Pizza

1 package (12 oz) lavash white flour bread (Sam's carries this)
3 oz thin-sliced skim-milk mozzarella cheese
3-4 tbsp pizza sauce
Salt
Fresh ground black pepper
Dried basil
3 oz cooked, crumbled and drained low-fat Italian-style sausage
1/2 cup shredded skim-milk mozzarella cheese
Recipe
Place an oven rack in the upper-middle position; set a pizza stone on the rack and heat oven to 425°.
Place one lavash bread on a round pizza pan or clean cutting board. Piece the mozzarella slices together on the bread so that they touch edge-to-edge, leaving ˜-inch around the edge. (You may need to use a thin sharp knife to cut the mozzarella slices to fit.)
Using a spoon spread the sauce evenly over the cheese, out to the edge. Season with salt, black pepper and crumbled basil to taste. Distribute the Italian sausage over the sauce and then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the top.
Slide the pizza off the pan onto the stone and bake for 12 minutes or until the cheese melts and the edge of the bread turns golden brown. Cut into wedges and serve immediately.
Serves 1 to 2.
