Cooking with Three Ingredients
Recipe Introduction
These are a lot like spiced nuts -- you keep popping them in your mouth! And the beans contain a fraction of the fat. These can be made ahead & kept at room temperature for a day before serving.
List of Ingredients
2 cups (one 15 oz can) cooked chickpeas, drained*
2 tbsp Asian sesame oil
2 tbsp chili powderRecipe
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute. Add chickpeas & cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the chickpeas are dry & slightly toasted. Reduce heat to medium. Add sesame oil, chili powder & a few good shakes of salt (I used kosher). Cook & stir until chickpeas are coated with oil & spices, about 1 minute. Makes about 4 to 6 servings.
