    1 14.5 ounce package gingerbread cake mix
    1/2 cup lukewarm water
    1 medium ripe banana -- mashed (about 1/2 cup)
    1 egg
    1 small banana -- peeled and chopped
    1/2 cup seedless raisins
    1/2 cup slivered almonds
    1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    juice from 1 lemon

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    In large mixer bowl, combine gingerbread mix, water, banana pure and egg.

    Beat on low speed of electric mixer 1 minute.

    Stir in chopped banana, raisins and almonds.

    Spread batter in greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until springs back when lightly touched.

    In medium bowl, mix powdered sugar and 3 tablespoons lemon juice to make thin glaze. Spread over warm gingerbread. Cool before cutting into bars.

    Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar, if desired. Makes 32 bars
