    • 4 PKGS. YEAST
    • 2 TBLSP. SUGAR
    • 1 CUP WARM WATER
    • 12 LARGE EGGS (BEATEN WELL)
    • 1/2 TSP. SALT
    • 4 TSP. WHITE VANILLA
    • 1/4 CUP LEMON JUICE
    • 3 STICKS BUTTER/MARGARINE ~MELTED
    • 1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR
    • 1 CUP ORANGE JUICE
    • 8 OR 9 CUPS FLOUR


    Instructions


    1. IN SMALL BOWL COMBINE: YEAST 2 TBLSP., SUGAR AND MIX DRYADD 1 CUP WARM WATER.

    2. IN LARGE BOWL COMBINE12 EGGS (ROOM TEMP) BEATEN WELL BY HAND, 1/2 TSP. SALT AND 1/4 CUP LEMON JUICE.

    3. MELT BUTTER AND STIR IN 1 1/2 CUP SUGAR, ADD ORANGE JUICE AND WHITE VANILLA. MIX INTO THE EGGS.ADD YEAST MIXTURE.

    4. SPRINKLE 3 CUPS OF FLOUR OVER TOP OF EGG MIXTURE SO THAT NO LIQUID IS SHOWING. MIX WITH SPOON THEN BY HAND

    5. ADD 1 CUP OF FLOUR AT A TIME TO THE 8 OR 9 CUPS ARE ADDED.

    6. LET RISE COVERED UNTIL DOUBLED IN SIZE.

    7. PUNCH DOWN

    8. SHAPE INTO LOAVES AND LET RISE AGAIN (1 HOUR)

    9. BAKE 350 DEGREE TIL GOLDEN BROWN 1 HOUR.

    10. BRUSH TOPS WITH MELTED BUTTER
