    Quick And Easy Chili

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. ground beef - browned
    • 1 med. onion chopped - (about 1/2 cup)
    • 2 15 oz. cans pinto beans
    • 1 30 oz. can chili beans
    • 1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes
    • 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
    • 1 4 oz. can chopped mild green chilis
    • 2 Tbsp. chili powder (add chili powder to taste)
    • 1 tsp. cumin
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 tsp. pepper
    • **
    • Everything is un-drained
    • You can add Kidney beans or substitute whatever you have


    Instructions


    1. Put all in a pot on the stove and just bring to boil, turn to simmer and stir occasionally. You can also put in a crock pot on high until hot then turn to low.

    2. To thicken, I mix a couple of heaping tablespoons of flour with COLD water (~3/4 cup) in a container with lid and shake to mix and stir into chili. You will want to simmer long enough to "cook out" the flour taste.
