A tasty meatloaf recipe, made with ground beef, tomato sauce, and seasonings, served with a tangy topping and noodles.
List of Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 teaspoons vinegar
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
Instructions
- Mix ground beef, onion, half of the tomato sauce, egg, salt, pepper, and bread crumbs together gently until well mixed. Form into a loaf; place in shallow pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Mix the other half of the tomato sauce with the remaining ingredients. Cook until well heated; pour over meatloaf. Serve with noodles.
