Old German Dill Pickles

List of Ingredients
- 1 Qt. jar medium size pickling cucumbers. (You can do babies or large, it doesn�t matter)
- 1 or 2 cloves of garlic.
- 1 Tablespoon mixed pickling spice.
- 1 1/2 Tablespoon pickling salt (I just guess at the �)
- 1 or more hot red peppers (optional)
- � Cup white vinegar
- 1 or 2 sprigs of fresh dill (the �flower� part)
Instructions
- Wash cucumbers, stuff into quart jar. Place other ingredients into jar (I kind of add as I go). Fill with cold water. Place lid on firmly and shake well.
Final Comments
I use a Foodsaver jar sealer attachment to seal the canning jars, you don�t need to use canning jars but I prefer them. Store them in a pantry or cool, dark place.
