    CHICKEN, SWISS, AND CELERY

    THIS IS AN EASY, FLAVORABLE DISH, AND MY CAITLIN,(WHO IS A CHILD) LIKES AND DISLIKES FROM DAY TO DAY, BUT SHE NEVER TURNS THIS DOWN!!!


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 CHICKEN BREASTS
    • 1 CAN CREAM OF CELERY SOUP (CAMPBELL'S)
    • 1 CAN CHICKEN BROTH
    • 2 STALKS CELERY (SLICED 1/2 INCH)
    • 1 SMALL ONION (DICED)
    • 1/4 CUP BUTTER (PLEASE DON'T USE MARGARINE)
    • 1 4OZ SOUR CREAM
    • 1/4 TSP CELERY SALT
    • SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
    • 6 SLICES SWISS CHEESE(KRAFT)
    • 1 CUP BREAD CRUMBS (DIVIDED)
    • COOKED VERMICELLI OR RICE


    Instructions


    1. IN BUTTER, SAUTE' CELERY, ONION, CELERY SALT, SALT, AND PEPPER UNTIL ONION AND CELERY ARE TENDER.

    2. MIX CELERY SOUP, CHIX BROTH, SOUR CREAM, AND 1/2 CUP BREAD CRUMBS TOGETHER.

    3. SPOON INGREDIENTS INTO GLASS BAKING DISH AND PLACE CHICKEN BREASTS ON TOP.

    4. COVER CHICKEN BREASTS WITH REMAINING BREAD CRUMBS AND BAKE UNCOVERED FOR 35 TO 45 MINUTES (YOU KNOW YOUR OVEN) OR UNTIL CHICKEN IS DONE. (I RELY ON MEAT THERM)

    5. WHEN CHICKEN BREASTS ARE DONE, PLACE SWISS CHEESE ON TOP UNTIL CHEESE MELTS.

    6. REMOVE AND SERVE OVER COOKED VERMICELLI OR RICE.



    Final Comments


    THIS IS JUST AS GOOD HEATED OVER!!!
